When requesting a quote or booking, you will asked for information to fulfill the requested service. This may include driver’s name, contact details (email, address and phone plus other communications options such as whatsap, viber, skype, messenger, or line for example) and payment information. You will be offered to open a user account to save personal settings, review past bookings and manage future bookings. Even if you do not book we may collect information such as your IP address, browser, language settings and operating system. On mobile devices we may also collect data identifying your device, specific settings and apps, and the geographic position of the device. This information is your personal information and by itself does not allow us to know who you are. We may also collect your personal information from our Apps or other booking platforms, and in particular using location based services (your geographical position when connecting to our app or service).
Why do we need to collect, use and share your details?
Bookings: most importantly we need this information to forward to our booking partner(s). Payment: credit card and other payment methods are processed by a third-party certified payment provider meeting PCI-DSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). They may retain payment information for recurring or future transactions and for fraud prevention purposes and may on occasion need to contact you to verify your identity or a booking is not fraudulent. Customer service: to allow our customer service teams to try and respond to your queries in the language and timeframe you prefer and to review your experience with us and our partners via reviews so that we may better understand and improve the services provided. Marketing: We also use your information for marketing activities such as individualized offers on our website/mobile app or those of our partners, and on social media and other third-party sites. Offers: You may subscribe to email offers and notifications about our company. You can opt out at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any emails we send you or by managing your profile online. We may also contact you via email or other channels to remind you as a useful support in your completing travel plans.
Why do we share data with third parties?
Suppliers: the transport supplier, airlines and hotels for example need your relevant booking and contact details entered in your profile and when booking. Third-party processors: to facilitate the payment or communications process, or to allow customer service reviews to improve our service to you. We may also work with third party advertising/marketing services on other platforms such as Goggle Analytics and Facebook, for analytical purposes. These parties will only be allowed to use your personal information for the purposes above. Government Authorities: we may disclose our personal information if strictly necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal acts or if we are required by law.
